When you finish with the hand mixer, turn it off then unplug it. Make sure it is okay with your parents to plug and unplug appliances.

Once the hand mixer is unplugged, push the eject button for the blender to get the beaters out.

Once the hand mixer is unplugged and you have pushed the eject button, you can safely remove the beaters.

Make sure you cleaned the beaters right away before the whipped cream hardens.

Potholders

Use potholders when taking things in or out of an oven. Make sure you never use a potholder that is wet, as water conducts heat and you will burn yourself. Always get your parent or guardian’s permission before using the oven.
